Oh hey.

I actually wasn't kidnapped returning from Nicaragua 6 months ago (side note: was that really only six months?!)

I just... you know.... got busy with life, stumbled upon a semi-decent dude, took a few trips with him... haven't found out he's married or has kids yet, so I'm content with letting him stick around.

Went on one hell of a trip to Ireland with a couple of my closest girlfriends. (Getting home really was the equivalent of hell.)

All in all, not much else is new. Done a few minor projects on the ol casa. Celebrated the 7th year anniversary of working at the house of booze. Still continue to keep the mutt alive, despite killing every house plant I've adopted in the same time frame.

Liv's scans continue to come back clear. I don't know what sort of timeline cancer has where it just decides to give up and stop trying to come back, but I'm definitely ready for that.

It's weird to think I used to write here daily. That I had friends come stay with me that I met through here, that I have a best friend who I started talking to thanks to blogging. I kind of miss it, I won't lie. Maybe I'll start popping in telling a story here and there a little more often.

I know you're all dying to know what exactly I've been up to. Snapchat is such a cliffhanger.

Blogging's making a comeback, you know? Facebook said so.

For my birthday, I received tickets to go up to Melbourne and see Strictly Ballroom The Musical. Firstly, let me just tell you just how bloody brilliant Thomas Lacey was - he played Scott Hastings. I may have cried a little because I was so proud of how far he had come since Ben Tickle days (Google it). The dancing, the music, the entire atmosphere was incredible and it is so close to the standard set by Les Mis when I saw that back in December.

We, being my mum and I, took some photos at the famous graffiti lanes. It was sort of awkward since a lot of people were staring and looking at me posing and such. Still not used to the blogging in public situation.

For lunch we ate at Locanda, an Italian Restaurant across the road from the theatre. Both of us ordered spinach risottos with feta, leek and hazelnuts + for dessert I chose a mango panacotta with a coconut cream - which was so yummy! And mum got a brownie type cake with pistachios and raspberries.

So the show was phenomenal, the food was amazing and I had the best time walking around the shops. Especially H&M, my new found love. I may even do a mini haul of some of the things I got some time soon so keep your eyes peeled for that. And I learnt a very important lesson - don't wear boots that you are just breaking in when you're planning on walking everywhere.

Next weekend, I'm back in Melbs for another exciting show in the evening.
Much love, Chelsea x
